Management

Johannes Klingsporn has a diploma in economics, and was head of the Statistics Division of SPIO from 1982 to 1992. Since 1993 he has been Managing Director of the Verband der Filmverleiher e.V. [Association of German Film Distributors], and in addition became Managing Director of the Verwertungsgesellschaft für Nutzungsrechte an Filmwerken mbH (VGF) [Collecting Society for Exploitation Rights in Cinematographic Works] in 1998. Mr Klingsporn is also a delegate on various committees of the FFA as well as a member of the Presiding Board of the FFA; he is a member of the Curatorial Board of the Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Stiftung [Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau Foundation] and a member of the management board of Deutsche Filmkünstler Nothilfe [Aid for German Film Artists].
