Tom Streuber

Tom Streuber was born in 1976 in Karl Marx Stadt (today: Chemnitz). He studied the humanities in Cologne, working, among other things, as a unit manager and screenplay editor in Berlin before writing and producing his own short films and full-length documentaries at the Film Academy of Baden-Württemberg in the area of Creative & International Producing. After the UCLA Masterclass, he worked as a screenplay author, script editor and producer in Berlin. Along with Kristine Knudsen in Berlin in 2006, he founded the Knudsen & Streuber Medienmanufaktur to develop and produce sophisticated and entertaining feature films, documentary films and animation films (for example, Gnade, shown in competition at the 62nd Berlin International Film Festival). The latest productions include Theater ohne Publikum and, in 2017, ÜBERFLIEGER (Richard, der Storch) could be seen in cinemas around the globe.
